MEANING
As a young girl, my regular island escapades included being out on the salt water with hooks and bait. I would look up to the sky and follow the birds flying overhead to the perfect fishing spot. Before long, I’d be back home cleaning and prepping a bucket of mackerel for a buttery fish fry.
